Business owners are invited to attend a Business After Hours event focusing on displaying merchandise in a creative way. This free event, called “Strut Your Stuff”, will be on Monday, Oct. 8, at the Jefferson Elks lodge.
A social time with a drink and snack at 5:15 pm will be sponsored by Addie’s, The Printer’s Box, Fudge’s Flowers, and Sensibly Chic.
The presentation will begin at 5:45, with Terry Poe Buschkamp, Main Street Iowa promotion specialist. Poe Buschkamp shared what attendees can expect. “The 45-minute presentation will include information pertinent to downtown businesses on how to create impactful merchandise displays that will create memorable impressions and maximum revenue. “
Earlier this year, Poe Buschkamp gave a presentation on window displays and many of those attending used her creative techniques in their displays immediately. This presentation will include a wealth of ideas for businesses of all sizes and types of merchandise or services.
